Delta Reign is confirmed for 6 November 2026, and unlike September's 30th Celebration it is a standard booster expansion — a main set, not a premium anniversary product. That distinction changes almost every piece of buying advice, so it is worth being clear about it up front.

What is actually confirmed

- It is a standard booster expansion — the kind of set that launches with the usual retail line-up rather than a single allocated product.
- It sits in the current Mega Evolution era. If you have been collecting Mega Evolution, Ascended Heroes or Phantasmal Flames this year, Delta Reign continues that block.
What we don't know yet
Card list, chase cards, pack configuration and Australian pricing have not been officially confirmed at the time of writing. Anything currently claiming those specifics is guesswork, and we would rather say so than fill a page with invented detail. When the set is properly revealed, this section gets replaced with the real contents.
Do you need to pre-order a standard expansion?
Usually, no — and we say that as a store that sells pre-orders.
Main sets are printed in volume and restocked for months. Missing launch day on a standard expansion is a minor inconvenience, not a missed window. The honest reasons to pre-order a main set anyway:
- You want it on release day — launch-week stock sells through faster than the print run suggests, and a pre-order guarantees your copy ships the day it lands.
- Special SKUs can be tighter than the boosters. Elite Trainer Boxes and premium collections attached to a popular main set sometimes are allocated even when packs are plentiful.
- Price certainty. A pre-order locks today's price against launch-week repricing.
If none of those apply to you, buying after release costs you nothing.
Which product should you buy at launch?
