Box or case?
A booster box is the standard bulk unit and the right size for one person opening, or for a small group splitting packs between them. A case contains multiple booster boxes in the manufacturer's outer carton — worth it if several people are buying together, or if you want product that has never been separated from its shipping carton.
Pack counts and pack contents differ between sets and between English and Japanese product, so check the individual listing rather than assuming.
Splitting a box with a play group
The most common arrangement is one person buys the box, everyone opens their share on the night, and rare pulls stay with whoever opened them. Boxes work out cheaper per pack than any smaller format, so a group splitting a box is getting the best value available on new product.
This is the sort of buying we set the store up to support. If your group orders regularly, tell us — we prioritise allocation of new releases to our regular groups before the rest goes up for general sale.
Storing sealed
If you are holding boxes rather than opening them, keep them out of direct sunlight, away from heat, and stacked so the corners are not carrying weight. Most of the condition damage we see on second-hand sealed product is crushed corners from bad storage, not age.
Delivery
Boxes and cases ship as tracked parcel post — $9.95 up to 2kg, $14.95 above, free over $299. We pack for corner protection as standard.
Returns
Unopened boxes can be returned within 7 days of delivery with a 15% restocking fee and return postage at your cost. Opened product cannot be returned for change of mind. Faulty or misdescribed goods are covered under the Australian Consumer Law.
